Anne Fulton died at age sixty-four. A self-employed counsellor, editor and writer, she was considered a “founding mother” of Halifax’s gay and lesbian activist community. She was an original member of the Gay Alliance for Equality (1973), and a founder in organizing the Atlantic Provinces Political Lesbians for Equality.
