Renowned rug hooking artist Elizabeth LeFort died in Ch├ęticamp (b. 1914). She learned to rug hook from her mother at a young age. Particularly skilled at replicating photographs, LeFort created highly detailed portraits, some of which were held in the Vatican Fine Arts Gallery, the White House and Buckingham Palace.
