AMY BENNET is a professional communicator whose career has included freelance copywriting, PR, sales and marketing. She spent more than 20 years living in Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia, raising her family on a century farm down a long dirt road, where kids, animals and imaginations ran wild. She lives in Halifax with her husband Tom near their children and grandchildren, Frances and Wesley.

DON KILBY is a full-time painter. He has illustrated several picture books over the years, including the Wheels at Work series. Currently, his work focuses on capturing the landscapes of the Georgian Bay, the Blue Mountains and the Beaver Valley. He lives and owns a gallery/studio in Clarksburg, Ontario.
