JOHN BELL is a historian who worked as a senior archivist at the National Archives of Canada, where he served as a curator of several major exhibits and websites. He is the author and editor of more than twenty books on Canadian history and culture. John lives in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. 

DOUG SYMONS taught psychology and researched at Acadia University for over 30 years. He has had a life-long interest in the Oak Island treasure hunt, which intensified over the last eleven years with the Curse of Oak Island series. This is his first book for a general readership. He lives with his wife Cate in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.

GRAHAM HARRIS was involved in many major engineering and mining projects in Canada's Maritime provinces, elsewhere in Canada and internationally. In retirement he lived near Bedeque, Prince Edward Island, until his recent death.

LES MacPHIE is a mining engineer who works for one of Canada's leading engineering firms. Born in Cape Breton, he lives in Montreal.

MARK FINNAN is a writer and actor. Born in Ireland, he worked in central Canada and the U.S. before settling in Nova Scotia. He was the organiser of the first-ever conference on Oak Island.

Originally from Nova Scotia, MARK REYNOLDS is a Montreal writer and editor.
